The increase in the amount of crop use per hectare causes a rapid depletion of soil nutrients. Fertilization simply replenishes the macronutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium), however, all crops require a number of elements that are only present in small amounts in the soil: micronutrients such as iron, manganese, zinc. If a plant lacks micronutrients, or these are not in the form of nutrient availability, for example, having formed insoluble precipitates, the normal development of the plant will be disturbed. In fruit trees, the lack of iron causes the leaves and buds to turn yellow (chlorosis) while the copper deficiency causes the leaves to rot and reduces the quality of the fruit. In the case of corn, the lack of copper causes the tips of the leaves to dry out and the lack of zinc causes a drop in the bud growth. To prevent and correct these deficiencies, S.A.
