Metallic traces produce unwanted effects in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products: oxidation, color changes, precipitation, etc. All these problems are eliminated through use of DABEERSEN sequestering agents.
These are used in vitamins to avoid descomposition and as protein and antibiotics stabilizers. DABEERSEN sequestering agents are used in the treatment of metal poisoning, as anticoagulation in human blood, and in gallstone dissolution.
DABEERSEN Iron salts (NaFe and FeN) are used to restore hemoglobin and a new application for DTPA (DABEERSEN 503) has recently been discovered in Medicine: paramagnetic lanthanide chelates which are very effectively employed as contrast agents in MRI ( Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
